Located in northern Calcasieu Parish, DeQuincy is a small city in the pine and hardwood forests of Southwest Louisiana, part of the Lake Charles metro area. Surrounded on all sides by forest, DeQuincy has a friendly, small-town atmosphere with deep roots in its cultural and historic heritage — most notably as a railroad town, a history that's seen all acroos the town today.
