About our senior pastors
Pastor Mark & Cindy Stermer became Senior Pastors of The Church International in 2010 after serving as Healing Place Church’s Missions Pastor & Campus Pastors since 1997.
Pastor Mark Stermer has served in ministry since 1992. A visionary with an apostolic calling, he loves spending his time investing in Pastors of our 13 campuses across the globe, The Life House University - a multi-site ministry he founded in 1997 that has helped thousands of people come out of addiction and live in true freedom, and our local government.
In addition to being a strong leader in the public, he is a devoted husband, father of 8, & grandfather of 15. Deeply rooted in biblical tradition, he is passionate about raising strong and godly men and women to become world changers for the furthering of the gospel and glory of the Lord. From growing up impoverished in a small town, to literally changing the world, Pastor Mark’s life is a testament of what can happen when you say yes to the Lord and go all in.
Pastor Cindy Stermer is a wife, mother to eight, grandmother to 15, a senior pastor, a women’s pastor, a worship leader, and many other titles she keeps tucked in her belt. She has been planted faithfully in the local church for over 3 decades serving wherever was needed - a heart of a true servant.
Pastor Cindy has a heart for raising young women up to fear the Lord, walking in their true identity - strong, brave and virtuous - through the blood of Jesus! Her tenacious spirit and love for the word of God shows fruit in every area of her life. She is full of wisdom and makes herself available to others because of her passion to see others walk in freedom!
Together, Pastors Mark & Cindy believe in building the local church, raising disciples of the Word, teaching Godly principles and empowering others. Their hearts are Kingdom-centered and fixed on changing the world for the glory of God.
